Why is my light not turning on?Updated 2 months ago
If your LuminAID won't turn on, the battery may be fully depleted and need to be recharged. Follow the steps below to check whether your light is receiving a charge.
Step 1: Check if your light is charging
Place your LuminAID in direct sunlight with the solar panel facing the sun. Look for the red charging indicator LED on the front of the product. If the red LED is illuminated, your light is receiving a solar charge.
If your product has a micro-USB input, you can also connect it to a USB power source. The red charging indicator should light up to confirm that the battery is charging.
Step 2: Allow your light to fully recharge
If the red charging indicator is on, allow your light to charge:
A few hours via USB (recommended for the fastest recharge), or 1–2 full days in direct sunlight, depending on weather conditions.
Once the battery has had sufficient time to recharge, try turning your light on again.
