LuminAID products are designed to withstand tough conditions and provide reliable light when you need it most. If your LuminAID isn't functioning properly under normal use, we want to help make it right.
The Off-Grid Guarantee covers products purchased by individuals through LuminAID.com or an authorized reseller for the expected lifetime of the product.
If your product has a covered issue, LuminAID may provide a replacement or credit, at our discretion. We may ask for proof of purchase or request that you return the product for evaluation.
What Is Covered?
The Off-Grid Guarantee covers issues that prevent your LuminAID from functioning as intended under normal storage and use, including:
Defective materials, such as plastics, batteries, or snaps
Defective workmanship, such as seams or construction
Other issues that prevent the product from performing as intended under normal use
What Isn't Covered?
The Off-Grid Guarantee does not cover damage caused by:
Misuse or improper use
Improper storage or maintenance
Negligence or accidents
Normal wear and tear
Cosmetic damage that does not affect function or safety, such as discoloration, scuffs, or air bubbles
Puncturing, crushing, or otherwise damaging the battery
Burns or damage from fire, embers, or cigarettes
Cuts or punctures from scissors, knives, or other sharp objects
Water damage caused by improperly closed port caps
Loss or theft
How Long Does the Guarantee Last?
The Off-Grid Guarantee covers your product for its expected product lifetime, not the lifetime of the original owner.
For most PackLite products, the expected product lifetime is approximately 5 years from the date of manufacture. Product materials and batteries naturally degrade over time with regular use.
What If I'm Having a Problem With My LuminAID?
If you're experiencing an issue with your LuminAID, please reach out to us even if your product is older or you purchased it from an authorized reseller. We'll be happy to review the issue and determine the best way to help.
What If I Purchased My LuminAID from LuminAID.com?
Products purchased directly from LuminAID.com are also eligible for our 100-day return window, including returns for reasons such as changing your mind or choosing a different product.
