How can I tell if my LuminAID can charge my phone?Updated 2 months ago
Only certain LuminAID models can charge phones and other USB-powered devices. These models have a built-in power bank and are designed to work as both a lantern and a portable charger.
The easiest way to check is to look at the ports on your lantern:
- 2 ports: Your LuminAID is a 2-in-1 power lantern and can charge external devices. It will have:
- A micro-USB input port for recharging the lantern
- A USB output port for charging phones, cameras, and other USB-powered devices
- 1 micro-USB port: Your LuminAID can be recharged via USB, but cannot charge external devices. The micro-USB port is for charging the lantern only.
Important: Not all LuminAID products have phone-charging capabilities. The presence of a micro-USB port does not necessarily mean your lantern can charge a phone.
Which LuminAID Products Can Charge Phones?
Only LuminAID models specifically designed as 2-in-1 power lanterns include a built-in power bank.
